Now a mother and an author, Tyra’s children's book “The Sky is Red” has been highly praised by teachers, therapists, and parents around the world.

During author visits, performance clinics and assemblies, Tyra emphasizes the importance of life skills such as a strong work ethic, self-confidence, the strength to push past self-doubt, and the ability for each individual to trust their own instincts.

The feedback she gets from students is that she inspires them to work hard and to never give up. She genuinely cares about each and every student, and is deeply passionate about encouraging inner strength and self-belief in all children.

Author Assembly (Grades K-5):
An age-appropriate blend of inspirational stories from Tyra’s journey of being bullied in elementary school to touring internationally with the biggest stars in the world as well as becoming an author, confidence building, storytelling, question-and-answer session with the audience, and an optional musical performance. Although the basic presentation remains similar, Tyra will alter it for different grades to be age-specific. No limits on the number of students in an assembly.

•Individual Class Visits (Grades K-5): Sessions include an age appropriate blend of inspirational anecdotes from Tyra’s journey of being bullied in elementary school to touring internationally with the biggest stars in the world as well as becoming an author, confidence building, a reading of Tyra’s book “The Sky is Red”, a look into the creative process, Q&A, and the creation of a group story right on the spot to build confidence and inspire creativity.
